Does my pet sleep on/next to the cuddly toy?
Yes, that happens frequently. Especially in the comparison between a Pen-Yang® treated and an identical untreated stuffed animal, we repeatedly observe: Animals choose the energetic cuddly toy. They seem to sense that it is beneficial for them. Many customers also buy Penya stuffed animals specifically for their pets.
How should the Penya cuddly toys be washed?
Ideally by hand washing and then drying in the sun.
However, it is also possible to wash the stuffed animals at 30° on a gentle cycle with a mild detergent. Please do not tumble dry, do not use bleach, do not dry clean, and do not iron.
How often should stuffed animals be washed?
As a rule of thumb for played-with cuddly toys, washing once a month is recommended. If the stuffed animals are put in the mouth by children, wash more frequently. Cuddly toys used by pets can also be washed more often.
